ALBUM SUMMARY- This album is a reminder to slow down, refocus and enjoy
the things that are most important in life – love and family.
1.I'M IN LOVE
This song describes the emotional highs you experience when you're in love. It’s an "I've got a jump in my step because I’m in love with you" kind of song.
A friend wrote a love poem using the correlation between people and seashells - walking on the beach and finding that seashell that you can cherish your entire life,
taking the chance even if that shell might suddenly be swept back into the sea.
From the viewpoint of people in our lives, there's also the chance that God will
keep them steadfast in our lives for us to hold close in our hearts to love forever.
I loved the idea and tried to incorporate those sentiments into a song. I love and cherish my wife so deeply. I thought this would be a unique way to tell her.

SLOW DOWN
After a career of more than 20 years in a family business, headed for a heart attack and chronic health problems from stress overdose, I walked away from everything secure in my life. I now can look toward the future with hope and restoration instead of misery and an early grave.

LOVE
I've always been a believer in love. No matter how much it has hurt in
the past or whatever negative experience has been encountered through it. I
believe it just means the positive experience to come will be heightened to an
even greater level.
5. FAMILY MAN
Much of what I write about comes from the heart and core of
having a family. For me it is the fabric of life. It's like a glimpse of heaven.
Probably most of everything that is good in the world somehow stems from the
family unit. When you think about it, most of what is evil in the world is in one
way or another opposed to family.
6.TAKE ME BACK
For those who are Christ followers, I'm sure you remember
that first experience is so wondrous, vivid and new. Then somehow as the years
pass, many of us get distracted with what the world says will make us happy.
We reach that point where we want to just start over and go back to the very
beginning when we first encountered God.
7.GOOD STRONG LOVE
At one point, my life was on continual overdrive. I
finally realized the prize I was chasing after wasn't the real prize at all. I already
had it right in front of me.
8.
TWINS OF WAR
Inspired by so many stories in history of civil wars, this song
idea evolved about twin brothers that get separated in youth and end in
prominent positions on opposing sides of war.
9. NOTHING COULD SEPARATE US
At a time when many of our friends were getting divorced and it seemed every time I turned around people were splitting up, I wanted to assure my wife that no matter what journey or curve lies on our path, we will always travel the road together.
10. STEP INTO YOUR DREAMS
Early on in our marriage it became our habit to
fall asleep cuddled in each other's arms. I was thinking how the busyness of life
and new careers kept us from having enough time together. I wished we could
somehow continue enjoying each other's company in the world of our dreams.ry.
11.
THE REST OF MY LIFE
At the beginning of a love, it's fresh, new and vibrant and you're convinced nothing will ever change that. Now twenty some years later, our love is still that strong.

CLASS OF '79
My high school reunion was approaching and I began reliving those memories one night. As the thoughts were flooding in, I came to understand what a deep impact that short period had on whom I was today - a time filled with equal portions of laughter and sadness.
